a puzzle

“extraordinary and wholly original”

I realised that often in life, we spend more time trying to “escape” mental situations (such as anxiety) than physical locations. I was eager to manufacture an escape-room game in which players should escape an abstract concept....
...and so I made this puzzle.
After much deliberation, I concluded it was impossible to escape abstract concepts, and that, as a statement to this fact, my puzzle should be impossible to complete...
...and so the jigsaw pieces do not fit together.
When you overturn each puzzle piece, you get something like this...

In documenting my puzzle, I inadvertently made a second iteration of the artwork in video form. Said video is just here:
I don't know where this puzzle box and its contents is right now. I posted it to one person as a gift, with the instruction that they pass it to somebody else when complete, and so on.

Participant lower limit = 1 subject + 1 object, where subject must be a person and object can be animate or inanimate
subject must:
